Position Title: Senior Vice President / Asset Manager
Position Location: Denver, Colorado
Reports to: Thomas Banta, Managing Director with dotted line reporting to the Chairman/CEO
This individual shall be responsible for the following:
1. All the holdings of Corporex Companies in Colorado, including in Denver the following properties:
Three office buildings:
188 Inverness, (252,000 sq.ft. multi-tenant )
1201 Broadway, (52,000 sq.ft. single tenant )
Fitzsimons 100, (167,000 sq. ft. single tenant )
including working with realtors on leases, and installation of tenant fit up
Multiple land holdings:
a commercial subdivision involving multiple sites known as Fitzsimons Village. This includes properties owned and to be acquired by takedowns in the near term)
a lot for office development known as 180 Inverness Dr,
a lot for hotel located on Tower Road @ DIA.
2. Negotiations on land sales, and on Joint Ventures in which the Company may make an investment either in the
form of land contributions, cash, or both.
3. Administration of partnership relationships, relations with investors, and in Joint Ventures that may evolve in
conjunction with the Company holdings at Fitzsimons and other sites.
4. Supervision of office building managers, including without limitation accounting, legal, ad valorem taxes, cause
timely reporting, and service various needs including Metro Districts, and other maintenance activities.
5. Oversee leasing activities of managers who are hired to manager and lease the building; and conducting or
causing marketing and public relations programs to support the properties.
This individual shall be compensated by salary to be determined on full or limited range of skill sets of the various candidates.
Bonus shall be discretionary, but tied to an annual business plan and the person’s success in meeting the plan.
Reports to Managing Director, Thomas Banta in Covington, Kentucky headquarters, with dotted line to the Chairman/CEO.
Comprehensive Health Care for family for which the employee will contribute 35% of the stipulated premium, traditional vacation time of two weeks, three weeks after five years, plus flexible extended weekend vacations.
401 K program, travel and related expenses.
The ideal candidate is an individual seasoned in real estate, as finance manager, or property manager or asset manager, but candidates from other fields will be considered, provided that they are experienced in executive positions.
This is a position ideal for a seasoned individual who has been working for at least 30-35 years and desires to work for a longer period, until retirement, who is experienced with managing a business, a significant division, or otherwise.
